Every shipment on your dashboard shows a status that tells you where your package is and whether we're waiting on you. Here's what each one means.
Understanding your shipment statuses
What each status on your Shippsy dashboard means — from Pending Details through Ready for Pickup — and what (if anything) you need to do next.
Statuses that need action from you
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending Details | Your package arrived at our US facility, but we don't know what's inside yet. | Click Provide Details and declare your items. See How to declare your items. |
| Pending Request | Your declaration is complete. The package is waiting at our US facility until you ask us to bring it to Canada. | Click Request and choose Pick Up or Mail Out. |
| Pending Payment | Your package has arrived at your Canadian branch and the final duties and taxes have been confirmed. | Click Complete Payment to pay and unlock pickup. See How to make a payment. |
| Item on Hold | Something needs a closer look before your shipment can move forward. | Contact our support team and we'll sort it out. |
Statuses where we're doing the work
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Processing | We're reviewing the details you provided. This usually completes quickly; if anything doesn't match your invoice, we'll send it back to you with a note explaining what to fix. |
| En route to CA / In Transit | Your shipment is on its way to the border and through customs. |
| Delivery in Progress | You chose Mail Out — your package is with the carrier, on its way to your door. You can track it from the shipment's details. |
Done
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ready for Pickup | Paid and waiting for you at your branch. Bring your order sheet (or show the barcode in the app). See How do I pick up my package? |
| Order Complete | Picked up, delivered, returned, or disposed — nothing left to do. |
Why does my shipment say "(Processing)" even though it's in Canada?
A shipment can arrive in Canada before CBSA finalizes its duty and tax amounts, or before it reaches your destination branch. The Pay button appears as soon as both are confirmed — usually within a day of arrival. If it's been longer, see Pay Button not showing.
