If you've changed your mind, received the wrong item, or the vendor approved a return, you can have a package sent back while it's still at our US facility (status "Pending Details" / Action Required).
How to return a package to the sender
Changed your mind or received the wrong item? While your package is still at our US facility, you can have it returned to the sender for $2.50.
Before you start
Arrange the return with your vendor first — you need a prepaid return label from them (Amazon, for example, emails you one). Shippsy doesn't purchase US return postage for you.
How to request a return to sender
- Open the shipment from your dashboard.
- Click Return to sender.
- Describe the contents, and upload the return label (PDF, JPEG, or PNG, up to 15 MB).
- Confirm the charge — a $2.50 fee (plus tax) applies.
Our US team applies your label and hands the package back to the carrier. The shipment shows as returned once it's done, and you'll see the charge in your transaction history.
Good to know
- Once a shipment has been requested to Canada, it can no longer be returned from the US — contact support to discuss options.
- If you don't have a return label and don't want the item, disposing of the shipment is the alternative.
